Today, the three existing Climate Action Network (CAN) members active in New Zealand (Greenpeace, Oxfam, and WWF) met with others in New Zealand's climate movement and resolved to establish a new CAN node here in New Zealand. 

350 Aotearoa, ActionStation, the Climate Defence Network, the Coal Action Network Aotearoa, Ora Taiao, ECO, Forest and Bird, the Aotearoa Youth Leadership Institute, Generation Zero, the New Zealand Youth Delegation, P3 Foundation, the Sustainability Council of New Zealand, the Aotearoa New Zealand Human Rights Lawyers Association, the Human Rights Foundation of Aotearoa New Zealand, and Amnesty International also attended the meeting and each agreed provisionally to join the new node.
