New Zealand CAN is very pleased to announce that Unite Union has today joined the Network as an observer member. Unite are - in their own words - a "campaigning union that fights to improve workers’ wages and work conditions through negotiations and campaigns".
New Zealand CAN node coordinator David Tong welcomes their decision to join the Network:
"In joining New Zealand CAN, Unite Union have further proven their commitment to securing a just transition for workers in Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad. We hope that other trade unions will also choose to join."
