New Zealand Climate Action Network members react to the announcement of a new New Zealand NDC.
New Zealand CAN is pleased to announce that Ngā Tirairaka o Ngāti Hine has today joined the Network.
Nga Tirairaka o Ngati Hine is the mandated environmental organisation for Ngati Hine and carries out work on catchment management, policy planning and lobbying government. The organisation also assists other indigenous peoples in this kind of capacity building.
New Zealand CAN is pleased to announce that the Edmund Rice Network NZ has joined the Network. The Edmund Rice Network is a Christian association of schools, ministries, community groups and individuals that take their inspiration from the life and work of Edmund Rice - a Christian lay preacher who lived from 1762 - 1844 and devoted much of his life to serving others
New Zealand CAN is very pleased to announce that Unite Union has today joined the Network as an observer member. Unite are - in their own words - a "campaigning union that fights to improve workers’ wages and work conditions through negotiations and campaigns".
